Privacy Policy - Vladier

This Privacy Policy describes how SV HUB S.R.L. (CUI RO51977418, registered office at Ielelor, Nr. 16, Ap. 1, Moșnița, Timiș County, Romania), operating as Vladier(“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects and uses personal information through vladier.com and in the course of providing our services.

1. What We Collect

Contact information: your name and email address, when you submit our contact form or email us.
Usage and analytics data: information about how you use our site, collected through analytics cookies only if you consent (see the Cookie Policy in Section 6).
Public business contact details: if we reach out to your business about our services, we use information your business has made public: business name, city, phone number, website address, and a business email address. We obtain these from open business listings published by the Overture Maps Foundation (open data license) and from your business's own public website. We check that the email address is deliverable using an email verification provider.
Billing information: if you become a client, payment details are processed by a third-party payment processor. Vladier does not directly store your card numbers.

2. How We Use It

to respond to your inquiries and requests;
to deliver the services you contracted (building, hosting, and maintaining your website, billing, and support);
to contact businesses about our services, based on our legitimate interest in offering relevant services to businesses; every message includes an easy way to opt out, and we honor opt-outs permanently;
to create a private, non-indexed design concept page for a business that asks to see one, which is deleted on request (a removal link is on every concept page) or automatically after 30 days;
to understand how our site is used and improve it, via analytics, only with your consent (Section 6).

3. Sharing With Third Parties

We share personal information only with service providers we use to operate:

our hosting provider (servers located in Germany);
our payment processor, for client billing;
our email provider (Google Workspace) and our email verification providers;
Google Analytics, only if you have consented to analytics cookies.

Some of these providers, including Google, process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Client data is retained for the duration of our contractual relationship, plus any retention period required afterward by applicable tax and accounting law. If you cancel your subscription, a backup of your website's content remains available for 30 days from the date of termination (consistent with Section 10 of our Terms of Service), after which the data may be permanently deleted.

For businesses we contact but who don't become clients, we delete business contact details 90 days after our last message, unless you continue the conversation with us. For anyone who opts out, we keep only a minimal do-not-contact record (email address only), so we never contact them again.

5. Your Rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), because Vladier is operated by a company established in Romania, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object at any time to our use of your data for contacting you about our services. If you object, we stop immediately. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA-CPRA): even where its thresholds may not strictly apply to us, we extend the following rights to everyone whose data we hold:

Right to know / access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
Right to deletion: request that we delete your personal information;
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data: note that Vladier does not sell personal data.

6. Cookie Policy

We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, with Consent Mode v2), which become active only after you explicitly accept them in our cookie banner. Your choice is stored in your browser under the localStorage key vld_cookie_consent.

The site works identically whether you accept or decline analytics, declining does not limit any functionality.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including HTTPS/SSL encryption across the entire site and restricted access to systems holding personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active clients by email.
